I love The Message translation!! ......I have a parallel bible with The New King James version on one side and The Message on the other side. The Message version cracks me up some times but it definitely sheds a different light on the same bible passage.
I am so ready to get going on my garden , Iv been looking at seed books and making plans as to what to plant. Also making plans to tear out some of the oak brush and plant some raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. I'm really looking forward to this because these will come back every year. We will have berries coming out our ears!
I also found a bush type of cherry tree that will grow in our cold climate ( Gurney's.com) :o).....I was excited about that because we can't grow fruit trees here like apples, peaches, pears ect. Not at this altitude.
Only problem is it is still winter and I won't be able to get my garden in until the end of May.
I am looking into ways to extend our growing season though.

Susan...I came back and read your story/profile. Lord bless you....I know a bit about taking care of grands. We had our grandson living with us for nearly 2 years while our daughter was going thru some serious rebellion. Austin was nearly 7 when we got him and it was rough going. She got him back nearly 2 years ago, but we haven't been allowed to see him since Christmas eve. Long story. Austin's baby brother, Alex, died this past November after being diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. He was only 3 months old. Thankfully, we were able to be a part of our daughters life during this tragedy. Life has been hard....
I'm looking forward to planting time too, Susan... I can't wait to get outside and get dirty!
